I am not a classically trained artist so take anything I say as just a humble opinion.
This is a beautiful piece, and Hermione's face is very expressive. I love the way she's looking out from the page, and that she's surrounded by books parchment and ink, as of course she would be The colours used are perfect.
The lighting in the eyes is very well done. If I had one small thing to say on the eyes, it would be that her left eye looks slightly smaller than the other, but if you add eyelashes to it, I think it will balance it out.
The background is beautifully done, and the books, ink well and feather look fantastic. The shadows are also well done.
As a personal preference, I might have added a bit more texture to the background by crumpling the page first, washing paint over it, and then re-flattening it to give it a more aged look, but you may prefer a more modern look.
I might also have considered rotating the pieces of text to slightly different angles to each other, so that they look more organic. Especially the piece of text over Hermione's cheek, which I would have rotated slightly to match the line of her cheek, making it flow a bit more.
Like I said the picture is absolutey amazing, and any comments above are only very niggly points. Well done
